ABOUT THE EVENT
The 18th SuperRatings and Lonsec Fund of the Year Awards, was hosted virtually for the first time and was attended by over 750 industry members.
In a year of momentous change and disruption, it is critical that we continue to connect and recognise the outstanding work that funds are doing to provide stability and guidance for their members.
As always, we recognise those funds that have gone above and beyond in delivering for their members, including the overall Fund of the Year for 2021. While our awards session was held virtually this year, the achievements to be celebrated are very real.
This year’s awards was held virtually on 29 October in a 1.5-hour online session.

MARKET UPDATE
SuperRatings Executive Director Kirby Rappell drew on SuperRatings’ wealth of data to show how funds are delivering on member outcomes, while adapting to new challenges across insurance, regulatory changes, and market volatility.
PANEL SESSION
Super is good, but is it good enough?
The pandemic has taught us that super is essential for the economy and our retirement. However, we must maintain focus on future opportunities for improvement. Our panel of industry leaders discussed the key learnings from COVID-19 and what we as an industry could do to make super an even stronger pillar of our retirement system.
