SuperRatings was founded in 2002. At the time, superannuation in Australia was still in its infancy. There was very little media coverage of superannuation, publicly available information and analysis, comparators, performance tables or Fund reporting.
In 2011 SuperRatings became part of the Lonsec Group, complementing Lonsec’s coverage of traditional managed funds with SuperRatings’ depth of specialised superannuation fund research.
Our charter is simple: we encourage and pursue greater transparency within the superannuation industry. Our aim is to drive better outcomes for members through the promotion, education and ownership of superannuation data through the provision of insightful research, consulting and analysis.
We have grown to become recognised as a leading research, consulting and ratings firm in the superannuation industry, and today we continue to deliver in accordance with this charter.
