Lonsec Retire Webinar: Why income from equities is increasingly important for retirement

October 20, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

With interest rates at historic lows and likely to remain so, many investors rely on equities for generating income from their portfolios. From our discussions with advisers, we have found that many are grappling with the best way to structure equities within a portfolio for retirement – is it to follow a total return strategy or should we still be focused on equity income yielding strategies?

Register for the webinar to hear David Wilson, Senior Investment Consultant at Lonsec Investment Solutions and Hong Hon, Senior Investment Analyst Lonsec Research, and a panel of experts give an update on the equities market and discuss the merits of both total return and income strategies. Joining David and Hong are:

  • Rudi Minbatiwala: Head of Equity Income, First Sentier Investors
  • Scott Kelly: Portfolio Manager for the Australian Equities Income Portfolio, DNR Capital
  • Veronica Klaus: Head of Investment Consulting, Lonsec Investment Solutions (as moderator)

There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists in the dedicated Q&A session.

CPD Points, available to the webinar attendees only.
