LIS sees these Alternative markets providing HNW investors an opportunity to add uncorrelated assets to their portfolio further lifting the benefits of owning a well-diversified portfolio by potentially enhancing returns and simultaneously lowering overall portfolio risk.
The LIS Growth Alternatives IMA provides an entry point into these sophisticated investments with a minimum initial investment of $500,000, an investor can begin their investment journey into Alternative markets with a highly individualised portfolio.
Asset Allocation
The LIS Growth Alternatives IMA Portfolio will include investments into Alternative markets including investments in Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets, Hedge Funds and Commodities.
The core portfolio is designed to deliver equity-like returns but with significantly less volatility than equity markets.

Access to the full breadth of Private Markets through our Netwealth and iCapital partnership
Once an account has built up to an investment size of $2.5 million, investors will be invited to participate in opportunistic deal flow.
By accessing the partnership between Netwealth and global fintech iCapital, advisers will be provided with the ability to act with speed in accepting global and domestic opportunistic deal flow. This deal flow will include access to private equity, hedge funds and other opportunities from some of the world’s leading General Partners, Hedge Funds and Specialist Fund Managers. Offshore opportunities will be sourced via iCapital through an existing agreement between iCapital and Netwealth, with iCapital exclusively available in Australia through Netwealth.
iCapital will manage the administration, structuring and sourcing of deal flow, addressing the complexity that comes with accessing offshore deal flow. With the flexibility of utilising the IMA, the portfolio can be further tailored to better align with individual investor preferences. The integration between LIS and Netwealth will also enable a streamlined account opening and subscription processes for advisers and their HNW clients. Investors will also get an annual tax statement from Netwealth.
