GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
LONSEC AND SUPERRATINGS FUND OF THE YEAR AWARDS DINNER 2022
By purchasing or holding a valid ticket for Lonsec and SuperRatings Fund of the Year Awards Dinner 2022 (‘Event’), you and/or any other delegate agree to the following General Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions as notified at the time of sale.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
1. TICKET
a) The ticket is proof of registration and purchase to this Event and is your tax invoice.
b) The original ticket must be presented at the time of admission (printed or digital).
c) Once payment is confirmed, ticket sales are final.
d) Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
e) The ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.
f) Tickets are sold on behalf of the Event Organiser (below) and are subject to the conditions applicable to the Event and /or the venue where the Event is presented.
g) Tickets must not be re-sold or offered for re-sale by the original purchaser or subsequent holder. If a ticket is sold in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer may be refused admission to the Event.

2. CANCELLATION
Full or partial cancellation of tickets are not acceptable, and you will not be entitled to any refunds except as set out below or as required by law.

3. SUBSTITUTION
a) Should you (or any one of your delegates) be unable to attend the Event, you may transfer the ticket to another individual as a substitute.
b) As the ticket holder, it is your responsibility to arrange the transfer of the ticket(s) by contacting the Event Organiser on the email below.
c) The Event Organiser must be notified in writing of all substitutes prior to the Event date.
d) Please ensure all correct information is provided in your email including: the full name of the substitute(s), company name, email, mobile number and any dietary requirement.
e) The Event Organiser will not be responsible for any missing information provided.

4. ENTRY
a) The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry and entry will be subject to the venue’s terms of admission.
b) Attendance to this Event is at your own risk and the Event Organiser will not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury to the extent arising from your negligent acts or omissions, including any pre-existing medical condition or your breach of these general terms and condition.
c) Please ensure your personal belongings are kept with you during the Event at all times.The Event Organiser accepts no responsibility whatsoever for your personal belongings.

5. SEATING
a) The Event Organiser reserves the right to allocate all seating arrangements at its discretion.
b) There is no guarantee of any seating or table allocation.
c) If you are part of a group booking of 10 delegates, you will be seated in one table.

6. EVENT CHANGES
a) The Event Organiser reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and other participants at the Event or make changes to the venue and will use its reasonable efforts to keep attendees informed of any such material changes.
b) In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Event Organiser (i.e. riots, strikes natural disasters etc), the Event may be delayed; re-scheduled; or cancelled by the Event Organiser.
c) Where the event is cancelled by the Event Organiser as set out in 6(b) above, you will be entitled to a refund for tickets purchased.

7. MARKETING AND RECORDING
a) The Event Organiser reserves all rights to record, photograph, utilise, publish, broadcast and telecast any part of the Event and distribute any such footage taken for general marketing or commercial purposes, whether online or through any other medium.
b) By registering for this Event, you consent to the Event Organiser taking and having, full and free use of any image or recording taken of you and you agree that you are not entitled to any remuneration or any other payment in respect of the use of your image and that the Event Organiser is under no obligation to share any footage or photographs with you or any other party, prior to its release.
c) You release, discharge, and hold harmless, the Event Organiser (and its agents) from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that you may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or footage.

8. PRIVACY
a) The Event Organiser is concerned with the protection of your privacy and supports the privacy principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended.
b) Your details may be used to promote products and services in the form of email communications and other types of communication. In addition, your details may be provided to parties directly related to the Event including the Lonsec Events Team and any third party venue (as applicable). Third party sponsors may be provided with your details following the Event. Please email the Lonsec Events Team should you not wish for your details to be shared with the Event sponsors.

9. LIABILITY
a. Attendance in person
Lonsec may engage third party service providers to deliver the Event, including venues, ground transport operators, accommodation providers, caterers, activity organisers, and other goods and services connected with the Event. You understand that Lonsec does not own, operate or control any of these service providers, accepts no liability for the provision of such services, and makes no warranty as to their quality and standard.
b. Personal Items
Lonsec is not responsible for your personal possessions such as bags, mobile phones and other items you carry with you. It is your responsibility to keep your personal belonging while you attend the event. If you lose an item, we advise you to contact the Fullerton Hotel Sydney venue team to locate your item.
c. Medical Condition
By entering the event or venue, and using the venue medical facilities, you consent (express or implied) to allow third parties to receive personal information from the medical service providers that has been obtained during treatment, during and/or after the event.
Lonsec will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury to the degree arising from your neglectful acts or oversights, any pre-existing medical condition, or your breach of these terms and conditions.
You should make your own further inquiries before deciding to attend the event.
Please acknowledge that you have read and accept the below waiver:
I agree to participate in the Event on the following additional terms:
• Participation in the Event is my choice, and I expressly assume any and all risks and responsibility (whether inherent or not, and whether listed or not) associated with the Event activities.
• Lonsec will not be held responsible for any property loss or damage to belongings, physical injury, exposure or illness (including but not limited to COVID-19), or death caused by or during my participation in the Event.
• I agree to release and indemnify Lonsec from any and all claims incurred of any kind whatsoever in any way arising out of my participation in the Event.
• I will follow all rules and regulations, safety instructions (including all COVID safety plans or guidelines) and reasonable directions given by Lonsec, its staff and agents, representatives and any third party service providers to ensure the safety of myself and other participants during the Event
• I understand that this Waiver is in accordance with the Terms and Conditions I accepted on registration to the Event and is not intended to supersede those Terms and Conditions in any way. To the extent permitted by law, if any part of those Terms and Conditions is invalid, the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
• I have carefully read this document and fully understand its content, and by purchasing the ticket, agree to be bound by the terms.
